A Carbon Neutral Future for Hospitality
In an effort to reinforce our continual pledge to societal impact and long-term feasibility, Be Tulum, since the end of 2019, has been compensating scores of CO2 every month through a tree-planting scheme that enhances rural areas in Chiapas, Mexico, and assists in dealing with worldwide climate fluctuation.
Our Sustainability Wing’s focused and quantifiable initiatives ensure that all our happenings and ventures are carbon-neutral, thereby signifying our substantial involvement in counteracting climate alteration.
We are commited to doing our part by creating a more sustainable tourism and the future. Join us and our growing conscious community.
Carbon Offset
Science proves that a key cause of global warming are the emissions of greenhouse gases. Human emissions produced by industry, transportation, land use, and electric power all contribute to the consequential results of global warming, including storms, hurricanes and flooding.
One of the key tactics to mitigate climate change is capturing carbon — as trees absorb CO2, it transforms into wood and oxygen and recycles into the atmosphere. Trees equally absorb emissions caused by daily human interactions to produce more oxygen necessary for human survival. Today we face the gravity of deforestation, with fewer trees producing the emissions and oxygen we require.
A carbon footprint can be offset via the purchase of carbon offsets, which are directly used to fund reforestation projects. Our collaboration allows us to contribute to reducing the number of greenhouse gases emitted annually and protect the forests and jungles of our planet.
